Play a serious classical game every week in our league designed with the busy adult improver in mind. Decide at the start of the week whether you want to play or not. Pairings against rating peers with care to match you with someone in your time zone. Specially designed point’s system that supports a fun and fair league even for people who can’t play every week. Video hangouts to watch matches between members live.

Accountability Training Sessions

Join daily training sessions with your clubmates every morning before you start work. Informal meet-up where we hold each other accountable to play, solve, study, analyse or do whatever you resolve to do in that hour.

Weekly Club Hangout

Weekly video call to discuss chess informally and support each other on topics like dealing with motivation, rating plateaus, anxiety at the board.

Expert Sessions

Join expert sessions from top coaches and players lecturing on a range of topics from openings to endgames, focus and mental strength.

Forum

Club forum lets you post questions about improvement to the community, submit games for analysis, find training partners and more.

Membership Cap

At The Online Chess Club we want to create an enviroment where all memebers know and support each other and so membership is capped forever at a number we feel allows us to keep the feeling right. This ensures the club will never outgrow it's orgional purpose of creating a close and welcoming community of dedicated adult improvers.
